We FOUND Them! Welcome, Lizz and Bradley S., our New Rover.com Affiliates!

With great enthusiasm and pleasure, we invite you to check out our new Rover.com affiliates Lizz and Bradley S.!

Lizz and Brad

Here, at Doc’s Doggy Daycare, we pride ourselves on providing excellent pet care for your amazing fur babies and we are SO excited to announce that we found some wonderful people to help us do just that!

Doc and I met Lizz through completely random circumstance at one of our favorite restaurants. Oddly enough, it was just a whim that we went that evening and, funny story, Lizz thought we were mystery shoppers!

Before dining, one of our long-term clients was leaving the same restaurant and we flagged her down for conversation. Lizz patiently waited while we wrapped up our chat with our amazing client, and provided us with great service as we ate our delicious meal.

Whenever Doc and I go out, we like to get to know the person that is helping us on the other side of the proverbial counter, so we struck up a conversation. Lizz told us that she was looking for a bit more freelance income and had recently signed up on a website to connect her to pet sitting clients.

Faster than you can say “Doc’s Doggy Daycare” we had a lightbulb moment. This wonderfully caring and extremely genuine individual could be the answer to a prayer for us, our business, and our family. We told her about Rover.com and presented her with the opportunity to mentor her on the ways of pet sitting.

Well, now, we’d like to introduce you to Lizz and Bradley S.

Right now, Lizz and Bradley are offering walk and check-in services and we’re referring them to everyone! Schedule your pup’s meet and greet with them today!

One of the challenges we’ve faced while on this path has been not having enough availability for our existing clients’ needs and not having a vetted, trusted sitter to refer to our clients for help. We love your pets like our own and want to make sure we find the best person, or in this case, persons, to recommend.

Well, this is no longer a struggle because we found Lizz, she found us… We found each other! And now, we hope that you will find her too.

Schedule your meet and greet with Lizz and Bradley today through Rover.com!

Update: We’re Just Getting Better!

Hello Valued Doc’s Doggy Daycare Clients,

As we celebrate our first year here, we want to take a moment to look back and reflect on what we have accomplished.

This past year has been amazing! We have met countless wonderful people and pets. Our awesome clients, that’s YOU, have helped to elevate our little operation from a dream to the best darn Doggy Daycare in the Winchester area.

We cannot thank you enough for trusting us with your fur babies and for not being quiet about it. Our positive five-star reviews are the most common reason that people contact us for a Meet & Greet. Thank you!

As we’ve grown our business, we have reached several important milestones. To continue providing excellent and attentive service, we find it necessary to institute a couple of new policy changes. Please feel free to contact us by phone, private message, or on our Facebook page if you have any questions about the new policies.

As of June 1st:

Drop-off, Pick-up, and daycare hours will be instituted to help us create a predictable environment for our family and our boarding clients. Daycare will be available from 7am to 7pm. Drop-off times will be between 4pm and 7pm, and pick-up times will be between 7am and 10am.

We understand that these hours may not always be convenient for everyone, and we are certainly willing to flex outside those hours, but please understand that a daycare charge will be added to the stay.

All clients dropping off their dogs for daycare or overnight boarding will be required to furnish a hard copy of the dog’s vaccination record, be kept on file, showing the following up-to-date immunizations:

  • DA2PL-Parvo
  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
  • Canine Influenza
  • Rabies
  • DHPPV (Canine Distemper)

All dogs arriving for care at Doc’s Doggy Daycare must be current on flea and tick preventive treatments. If we determine during the visit the dog needs preventative treatment, we will apply a tick or flea treatment, of our choosing, at the owner’s expense. Currently, we are using Tick Off from Young Living Essential Oils.

All clients dropping off their dogs for daycare or overnight boarding will be required to review and sign a liability waiver annually. This document will help to communicate the rules and policies here at Doc’s Doggy Daycare so that everyone has the same expectations of the services they will receive.

**About our home/services**
We offer anything! We’re always up for trying new things and being consistent with things that work. We provide watching services at our home, at your home, dog walking, dog check-ins, etc. We have a fenced-in backyard that the dogs are free to observe nature and lay out in the sunshine.

**About our neighborhood**
We live within walking distance to a huge park. Also, we live on a very quiet street. Our neighbors love dogs and your animal may get some free loving from them.

**What to expect**
Cuddles, runs, long walks, the dog will play in my backyard and in our house. We have two boys so they will be present as well and love your fur babies too.

**Special rules or requests**
Let’s talk about how we can work together to achieve your goals for this. We are open to just about anything. We have great confidence that you will be happy with the service we provide. We accept unfixed males on a case by case basis. We do not take females in active heat.

**Why choose us?**
– We will send you daily photo updates on your pups to let you know how they’re doing and adjusting to our space as well as our pack.
– My husband is the dog whisperer. It’s just a fact.
– He is also a stay-at-home dad so your pup will have constant care and frequent bathroom breaks.
– We LOVE dogs! We LOVE cats (in your home)! We LOVE helping other good people.
– We will love your pets like our own and make sure they have the best, most comfortable experiences when they are our guests.
